School. The school will do its best to:  Provide an environment which has been risk assessed in response to the COVID-19 infection;  Adhere to the social distancing rules as set out by the government as much as we reasonably can, both in and out of school;  Provide a curriculum that meets the needs of your child’s well-being, mental health and academic needs;  Contact parents/carers if your child displays symptoms of COVID-19;  Inform you if staff or children in your child’s year group show symptoms of COVID-19 as this will mean you will all need to self-isolate for at least 14 days or until the test comes back negative;  Continue our clear and consistent approach to rewards and consequences for children as set out in the Behaviour Policy as well the expectations outlined in this agreement;  Communicate between home and school through notices, newsletters, text, email and the school website. PARENT/CARER TO HELP MY CHILD AT SCHOOL, I KNOW AND UNDERSTAND THAT:  If my child, or anyone in my household, shows symptoms of COVID-19, I will not send them to school, we will self-isolate for 14 days as a family, I will get them tested and I will let the school know as soon as possible via telephone;  If my child, or another child in the group, shows symptoms of COVID-19 at school, I will collect my child from school immediately;  When dropping my child off and picking them up, I will adhere to the 2 metre social distancing rules. I will then leave the premises immediately;  I will be on time when dropping off and picking up;  I will insure that only one parent and carer will drop off and pick up and that there will be no alternative arrangements for pick up and drop off between families/carers;  My child will not bring any items into school with them (apart from their packed lunch if bringing one from home). If bringing a water bottle, this must be filled at home and must be washed at home;  My child may have their temperature taken on arrival and during the day if they feel or present as being unwell;  I will remind my child about social distancing rules but accept they are difficult to follow and I understand that my child may not always achieve this successfully;  I will teach my child how to wash their hands properly;  I will remind my child about the importance of “Catch it”, “Bin it” and “Kill it” for coughing and sneezing;  I will not be allowed into the school without a pre-arranged appointment – make appointments via telephone or email;  I need to support all staff in their efforts to create an ‘as safe as possible’ environment;  Read all letters/messages/emails that are sent home;  I will provide up to date emergency contacts details.  If my child is deemed unsafe, he/she will be sent home and cannot return to school until they can be safe;  I understand that if my child is unwell at school, she/he will be immediately isolated from other children and staff. PARENTParent/CARER TO HELP MY CHILD AT SCHOOLCarer ● To help my child at school, I KNOW AND UNDERSTAND THATknow and understand that: If my child, or anyone in my household, child shows symptoms of COVID-19, I will not send keep them at home until a PCR test has confirmed they’re safe to return to school, we will self-isolate for 14 days as a family, I will get them tested and I will let the school know as soon as possible via telephone;  . ● If my child, or another child in the group, shows symptoms of COVID-19 at school, I will collect my child from school immediately; ● If my child tests positive I will keep them at home for 10 days from the time of confirmation. ● When dropping my child off and picking them up, I will adhere to the 2 metre social distancing rules. I will then leave the premises immediately;  I will be on time when dropping off and picking up;  I will insure that only one parent and carer will drop off and pick up and that there will be no alternative arrangements for pick up and drop off between families/carers;  My child will not bring any items into school with them (apart from their packed lunch if bringing one from home). If bringing a water bottle, this must be filled at home and must be washed at home;  My child may have their temperature taken on arrival and during the day if they feel or present as being unwell;  I unwellI will remind my child about social distancing rules but accept they are difficult to follow and I understand that my child may not always achieve this successfully;  I will teach my child how to wash their hands properly;  properly ● I will remind my child about the importance of “Catch it”, “Bin it” and “Kill it” for coughing and sneezing;  sneezing ● I will not be allowed into the school without a pre-and pre- arranged appointment – make appointments will be conducted via telephone or email; I need to support all staff in their efforts to create an ‘as safe as possible’ environment; Read all letters/messages/emails that are sent home; I will provide up to date emergency contacts contact details.  If my child is deemed unsafe, he/she will be sent home and cannot return to school until they can be safe;  I understand that if my child is unwell at school, she/he will may be immediately isolated from other children and staff. CHILD ; ● I will support the school staff to ensure my child’s behaviour does not put anyone at risk Child I will do my best to: Follow the social distancing rules: rules in class, in the toilets, in the corridors (keeping to the left) class and in the playground;  playground ● Tell an adult if I feel unwell;  Not bring things into school from home, or take things home from school;  unwell ● Only use the equipment provided to me by school;  school ● Not mix with any other year group in the school;  school ● Only enter and exit the school building from the designated area;  gate ● When coughing and sneezing use “Catch it”, “Bin it” and “Kill it”;  ” ● Wash my hands regularly– use soap and water for 20 seconds;  seconds/ hand sanitiser ● Behave well at all times to keep myself and others safe;  Follow the safety rules and know that if I don’t, I will be sent home and will not be able to come back into school until I can be safe. ADDITIONAL NOTES DURING COVID -19  All children are to wear full school uniform, this should be washed regularly;  Children are not to wear facemasks or use hand sanitiser from home in school;  Any appointments with staff will need to be made via telephone and not face to face unless this cannot be avoided;  Breakfast club and after school clubs will resume within the next few weeks. After school clubs will be offered on a class by class basis so that children are not mixing across year groups. If children attend breakfast club, they will sit with their own family members.  We will soon operate a cashless system so that school dinners and other monies can be paid directly from your debit account.
