Common use of SCRUTINIZED COMPANIES Clause in Contracts

SCRUTINIZED COMPANIES. A. By executing this Agreement, the Contractor/Sub-Recipient certifies that it is eligible to quote on, submit a proposal for, or enter into or renew a contract with the County for goods or services pursuant to Section 287.135, Florida Statutes. B. Specifically, by executing this Agreement, the Contractor/Sub-Recipient certifies that it is not on the Scrutinized Companies that Boycott Israel List, created pursuant to Section 215.4725, Florida Statutes, or is engaged in a boycott of Israel. C. Additionally, if this Agreement is for an amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000) or more, by executing this Agreement, the Contractor/Sub-Recipient certifies that it is not: 1. On the “Scrutinized Companies with Activities in Sudan List” or the “Scrutinized Companies with Activities in the Iran Petroleum Energy Sector List,” created pursuant to Section 215.473, Florida Statutes; and/or 2. Engaged in business operations in Cuba or Syria. D. The County reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately should the Contractor be found to:
