Common use of Secondment Leave Clause in Contracts

Secondment Leave. a. Leave for secondment to educational organizations such as the Teacher Regulation Branch, BCTF and the Ministry of Education shall be granted for a term mutually agreed upon with the Superintendent. Such leave shall not be unreasonably denied. b. Conditions of secondment shall be consistent with Article G.29 Extensive Leave with the exception that the leave period shall be credited for experience and seniority, and wherever possible the employee shall be assigned to a position comparable to that previously held.
