Section 1813. “The contractor or subcontractor shall, as a penalty to the state or political subdivision on whose behalf the contract is made or awarded, forfeit twenty-five dollars ($25) for each worker employed in the execution of the contract by the respective contractor or subcontractor for each calendar day during which the worker is required or permitted to work more than 8 hours in any one calendar day and 40 hours in any one calendar week in violation of the provisions of this article. In awarding any contract for public work, the awarding body shall cause to be inserted in the contract a stipulation to this effect. The awarding body shall take cognizance of all violations of this article committed in the course of the execution of the contract, and shall report them to the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.”
Section 1813. The Union will be provided copies of all releasable Safety and Health Reports generated by DDPW upon request.
Section 1813. 1. 40 Bus drivers who are at the transportation site or on an assigned bus run, and are asked to 41 perform any work beyond their regular assigned work shift, will be paid for actual 42 driving time and up to thirty (30) minutes if the time between assignments is contiguous 43 to the end of a run or to the start of a scheduled run. Bus drivers asked to perform this 44 additional work shall receive a minimum of thirty (30) minutes pay. 45 47 48
Section 1813. 34 The District shall have the right to require physical examinations as prescribed by State law. The District 35 shall designate a physician(s) to perform the physical examination and shall pay the full cost of such

Section 1813. 2. 43 Bus drivers who are off the clock and are called back to work to perform work other 44 than their normal work shift shall receive a minimum of one (1) hour of pay. The 45 District shall have the option of paying continuous time in lieu of a minimum.
Section 1813. 25 Schedule A rates will be applied on September 1 of each contract year. Incremental steps, 26 where applicable, shall take effect on September 1 of each year during the term of this 27 Agreement; provided, the employee was actively employed during the previous contract year.
