Section 18.8. 6 Any employee required to travel from one site to another in a private vehicle during working hours shall 7 be reimbursed for such travel on a per mile basis at the federally recognized rate, or the amount 8 approved for payment to the State employees, whichever is greater. When a school car is available, 9 employees who opt to use their own vehicle shall receive the rate paid to State employees as set forth by 10 the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Section 18.8. Longevity 17 Effective September 1, 2002, employees who have completed twenty or more years of employment 18 with the District shall receive a longevity increase of twenty-five cents ($.25 per hour. Effective 19 January 1, 2000, employees who have completed fifteen or more years of employment with the District 20 shall receive a longevity increase of twenty-five cents ($.25) per hour. Effective September 1, 2000, 21 employees who have completed ten years of employment with the District shall receive twenty-five 22 cents ($.25) per hour. A completed year is defined as having worked nine months or more in a regular 23 job assignment. Longevity wage increases are listed on Schedule A, Note #7.

  • Section 18.2 2 All provisions of this Agreement shall be applicable to the entire term of this Agreement 3 notwithstanding its execution date, except as provided in the following section.

  • Section 14.3 24 The parties recognize that an employee should have the option of declining to participate as a member in 25 the Association, yet contribute financially to the activities of the Association in representing such 26 employee as a member of the collective bargaining unit.
