Section 8.4. Maternity Leave. 27 Physical disablement caused by maternity, childbirth and recovery therefrom shall be considered as a form 28 of illness for the purposes of sick leave. An employee who takes maternity disability leave shall return to 29 work within ninety (90) days of childbirth unless the employee's doctor certifies in writing that she is unable 30 to assume her duties. Use of sick leave shall only be available during the period of time a licensed medical 31 doctor certifies that the employee is disabled and cannot work.
