Common use of Section 9.1.4 Clause in Contracts

Section 9.1.4. 9 In the event employees are absent for reasons which are covered by Industrial Insurance, the 10 District shall pay the employee an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid the 11 employee by the Department of Labor and Industries and the amount the employee would 12 normally earn. A deduction shall be made from the employee's accumulated sick leave in 13 accordance with the amount paid to the employee by the District.
