Section 9.6. Judicial Leave. 6 In the event an employee is summoned to serve as a juror, or appear as a witness in court, or is named as a 7 co-defendant with the District, such employee shall receive a normal day’s pay for each day of required 8 presence in court. On any day that an employee is released from jury duty or as a witness by the court 9 and one half or more of the employee’s scheduled workday remains, the employee shall inform the 11 court action, such employee may request to utilize emergency leave or request a leave of absence in 12 writing from Employee Services.
