Common use of Section E Clause in Contracts

Section E. Any employee who works on a designated holiday shall receive eight (8) hours holiday pay plus one and one-half (1 1/2) times his regular rate of pay for all hours worked on the holiday. Employees will be granted sixteen (16) hours paid leave per calendar year to be utilized for personal business. Notice to the employee's supervisor forty-eight (48) hours in advance shall be required to take such time off, except in the event of a personal emergency.
