Length of Work Year 1. The length of the work year for custodians, accountants, (excluding school lunch accountant), personnel specialist, maintenance, maintenance helpers, mechanics, purchasing coordinator, county receptionist, warehouse and property records coordinator shall be twelve months.
Length of Work Day The regular employee work day shall be no more than seven (7) hours forty (40) minutes including the duty-free lunch period of thirty (30) continuous minutes.
Length of Workday The employees' workday shall be seven and one- half (7 1/2) consecutive hours, including the lunch period. The normal teaching load for assigned classes shall not exceed a daily average of 300 minutes. Those teachers who teach 360 minutes shall have a workday of no longer than eight and one-half (8 1/2) hours. If a four (4) day work week is implemented, this schedule may be compressed into that period. Said compression shall not result in the reduction of salary or benefits.
Extended Work Year A teacher requested by the Board to work in his/her regular assignment beyond the contracted number of days shall be offered an extended contract and compensated at the scheduled per diem rate, as specified in Article XXV. Compensation for weeks worked after July 1 shall be at the new rate.
Cost of Work The Cost of Work will be adjusted and finalized as part of the Contract Sum in the GMP. The budget for the Cost of Work shall not Seven Million and No/100 Dollars ($7,000,000.00).
Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.
Normal Work Schedule 282. Compensation fixed herein on a per diem basis are for a normal eight (8) hour work day; and on a biweekly basis for a biweekly period of service consisting of normal work schedules. Part-time Work Schedules
Ordinary Hours of Work The ordinary hours of work will be worked any time between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Ordinary hours of work may be varied by agreement between the Employer and the majority of the employees concerned and the ETU State Secretary (via the relevant full time ETU Official) to accommodate the hours or work required for the most efficient and safe operation of the Employer and the requirements of its client. Where agreement is reached to work alternate hours, occupational health and safety principles will prevail.
