Security Checks and Training. Requesting Carrier shall conduct background checks of each of its employees, technicians and vendors that access Ameritech’s Premises. Ameritech shall provide Requesting Carrier a list of actions for which Ameritech precludes persons from accessing Ameritech’s Premises and Requesting Carrier shall apply such actions to its employees and vendors. Requesting Carrier’s employees and approved vendors shall be required to undergo the same level of security training, or its equivalent, that Ameritech’s own employees or vendors providing similar functions, must undergo. Ameritech shall provide Requesting Carrier information on the specific type of training so that Requesting Carrier may provide such security training. Requesting Carrier shall provide Ameritech written certification that its employees and approved vendors have satisfied the necessary security training prior to accessing Ameritech’s Premises.

Ameritech shall provide Qwest Communications Corporation a list of actions for which Ameritech precludes persons from accessing Ameritech's Premises and Qwest Communications Corporation shall apply such actions to its employees and vendors. Qwest Communications Corporation's employees and approved vendors shall be required to undergo the same level of security training, or its equivalent, that Ameritech's own employees or vendors providing similar functions, must undergo. Ameritech shall provide Qwest Communications Corporation information on the specific type of training so that Qwest Communications Corporation may provide such security training. Qwest Communications Corporation shall provide Ameritech written certification that its employees and approved vendors have satisfied the necessary security training prior to accessing Ameritech's Premises.
Security Checks and Training. The Contractor shall provide such documentation as may be required by the IESO so that the IESO may arrange for criminal record searches, Canadian Security Intelligence Service searches, and such other searches as the IESO, in its sole and absolute discretion, deems appropriate to be conducted in respect of all of the Contractor’s personnel prior to commencing the provision of the Services. The Contractor shall make its personnel confirm their commitment to abide by the security and confidentiality obligations of the IESO as set out under the Contract and as may otherwise be specified by the IESO from time to time. As a condition for the benefit of the IESO, the Contract shall not be binding upon the IESO unless and until all of the Contractor’s personnel assigned to the provision of Services shall have, in the sole and absolute discretion of the IESO, passed the required security checks. In addition, all the Contractor’s personnel shall successfully complete any applicable IESO information security awareness training delivered by the IESO’s security team prior to the required engagement start date.
