Security Checks. 41.01 When required by law, a funder, or requested by the employer, the Employer will reimburse the fees for acquiring renewals of the following: • Child Abuse Registry Check • Criminal Record/ Vulnerable Sector Check • Drivers Abstract To be eligible, proof of payment must be submitted by the employee to the Employer within thirty (30) days of payment.
Security Checks. 37.01 When a security or police check is required to gain access to a job for the purpose of working, the company will cover the cost for this security/police check, minus wages. The Employee will make every effort to let the Employer know if he/she will pass a security check prior to proceeding. Clause "l" under the General Powers of Trustees in the current Trust Agreement for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Province of Ontario Benefit Plan Trust authorizing examination of an Employers financial records shall be inoperative unless a similar Clause is negotiated into this Collective Agreement. "Non-reversion" under the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Province of Ontario Vacation Pay Trust Fund is not applicable to the Association and the Union in accordance with this Collective Agreement. "Similarity of Benefits" provision in Declaration of Trust of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Province of Ontario Benefit Plan Trust Fund will have no material affect on Benefits provided Xxxxxxx Beneficiaries. Whereas the proposed merger of the Glaziers Pension Trust Fund of Ontario into the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Province of Ontario Benefit Trust has not been granted required regulatory approvals, it is understood that whenever International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Province of Ontario Benefit Trust appears in this Collective Agreement, in the context of Pension, it shall also mean and include Xxxxxxx Pension Trust Fund of Ontario.
Security Checks. Whereas the Corporation employs individuals in the positions of Lead Hand Parks and Facilities, Facility Operator, Cemetery Operator, Facility Attendant/General Maintenance who are represented by the Power Workers’ Union (“the Union”) And Whereas incumbents in those positions may frequently work in close proximity to children and other potentially vulnerable individuals, (collectively “vulnerable individuals”), And Whereas the Corporation has identified a desire to ensure that it has shown appropriate diligence in ensuring that vulnerable individuals are not exposed to risk at its facilities, while respecting the privacy interests of its employees. On a without prejudice or precedent basis to any other matter, including the issue of the effect of a negative security check or admission of offence by an employee in any individual case, the parties agree as follows:
Security Checks. To ensure that contraband, drugs, weapons and other unauthorized or illegal substances or materials, do not enter our job sites, the Town premises and other Town facilities, and to further ensure that tools, files, equipment, products, materials, substances and other property of the Town are not being removed from our job sites, Town premises and other Town facilities without our authorization. The Town reserves the right, at its discretion, to question, inspect and search an employee or other person before they enter or leave any of these facilities. This procedure applies to any employee while on Town business, whether or not on our job sites, Town premises or Town facilities, along with any packages or other items that the employee may be carrying. All vehicles, lockers, containers, brief cases, handbags, and other parcels and personal belongings of employees, as well as e-mail and mobile data utilized through Town operated computer systems are subject to inspection and search by the Town or its designated outside investigators at any time. These procedures are necessary for the safety, health and security of everyone with the Town and the protection of our property and facilities. Submission to and compliance with these rules is a condition of your continued employment. It will not be the practice of the Town to randomly search employees or their belongings, but searches may be conducted for reasonable suspicion, or as part of a larger investigation. Supervisors are expected to consult with Human Resources before engaging in a search of employee property.
Security Checks. Minimum requirements
1.2.1 The HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) forms the minimum- security check requirements for all Staff whose duties include • working in any of the service and the Client’s premises, offices, depots, Regional Operations Centres (ROC), the National Traffic Operations Centre (NTOC) and any outstations owned or operated by the Client, • usage of the Client’s Information Systems or • working unsupervised in any other capacity.
1.2.2 The Service Manager may notify the Consultant of a modification to the categories of Staff requiring BPSS security checks at any time.
1.2.3 The complete Government guidance document for the BPSS is available to be downloaded from the Cabinet Office website (see link in Annex 02). The BPSS form and summary guidance produced by the Client is located in section 5 below.
1.2.4 Procedural and other details for ensuring compliance with the BPSS are set down in Part One – BPSS Compliance below.
Security Checks. Additional vetting requirement
1.3.1 Where Staff require unrestricted access to the Client areas identified in Part Two of this Annex 04, the Service Manager notifies the Consultant of the appropriate level of National Security Vetting (NSV) to be carried out.
1.3.2 The Service Manager notifies the Security Team via email (see link in Annex 02) that the applicant requires NSV to be carried out.
1.3.3 Procedural and other details for ensuring compliance with NSV are set down in Part Two - National Security Vetting (NSV) of this Annex 04.
Security Checks. 9.1 Regular security checks shall be carried out by the Establishment's Security Officer on behalf of the Governor to prevent during the Contract any secretion of weapons, tools or other items.
9.2 Security checks shall be carried out without the benefit of prior notice and the Contractor shall be expected to co-operate fully with the requirements of the Security Officer and the team during the operations. It is expected that approximately 2 checks will be carried out before the date for completion during the Contractor's working hours.
9.3 Every endeavour shall be made to minimise the disruption to the progress of the Contract whilst carrying out the security checks.
9.4 Security checks shall also be carried out outside the Contractor's Working hours and the Contractor shall be notified after the event.
9.5 The Contractor shall be notified by the Employer of any abnormalities resulting from the Security checks and shall co-operate fully in the further requirements or investigations of the Employer.
9.6 The Contractor shall in pursuance of the same objective stated above and under the control of the Contractor's Security Manager carry out on a regular basis security checks paying particular attention to areas of the Works such as cavities, ducts, etc and potential spaces immediately prior to their closure or sealing up.
9.7 In the event of an item being found the Contractor shall not interfere with the find but shall immediately secure the area and notify the Governor who shall investigate and determine what action shall be
Security Checks. All Authorised Users will be subject to security checks before permission is granted for access to ELFT systems. Failure of an individual to secure the correct level of security clearance will automatically result in permission to access the required information system being refused. Security checks may also be carried out at regular intervals, or if a security or data protection breach is suspected to ensure continued protection of the Trust’s information.
Security Checks. All delivery, removal, construction and renovation works must be reported at the security check-point. Notwithstanding this, the Manager reserves the right to refuse entry to any unknown personnel for whatever purposes which cannot be verified there and then or refuse entry to the Purchaser‟s appointed contractor for any breach or non-compliance of the Purchaser‟s obligations.
