Selection of Locally Preferred Alternative. Xxxxxxx Xxxxx will prepare a matrix comparing two (2) build alternatives to select a locally preferred alternative (LPA). Geometric design, traffic operations impacts, design exceptions, environmental impacts, right of way impacts, public Open House meeting feedback, and other variables will be compared between the two (2) build alternatives. Xxxxxxx Xxxxx will prepare a PowerPoint presentation and present the LPA evaluation in a Study Session with City Council for consideration and input. A PDT focus meeting will be held to discuss the evaluations and results. A memorandum will be prepared and sent to the PDT summarizing the findings of the comparisons for review and approval by the PDT. Upon agreement, the PDT will choose a LPA. Selection of Locally Preferred Alternative. The original scope from Contract Project No. 801 0052 70 77 dated July 16, 2013, was intended for a selection of a Locally Preferred Alternative before circulation of the Draft IS/EA. Based on the current project status, a Locally Preferred Alternative will not be selected prior to circulation of the Draft IS/EA. Corresponding fees will be reallocated to remaining tasks.
