Project Status. Project Status. 4 ADOT has been moving forward with development of the Project for several years, using its own 5 personnel; retaining consultants; and engaging with stakeholders such as MAG, the municipal 6 planning organization for Maricopa County, Cities along the Project corridor, resource agencies, 7 and the public. 8 On April 26, 2013, a notice of availability for the South Mountain Freeway Draft Environmental 9 Impact Statement (XXXX) was published in the Federal Register. This notice began a 90-day 10 public comment period. During the comment period, a public hearing was held on May 21, 2013, 11 at the Phoenix Convention Center; numerous other community outreach events were also held. 12 The public comment period ended on July 24, 2013. 13 On September 26, 2014, the study team released the Final Environmental Impact Statement 14 (FEIS) for a 60-day public review period. The FEIS incorporates analysis and conclusions 15 presented in the XXXX for the proposed action, public comments and responses on the XXXX, 16 and new information that became available after public release of the XXXX. Each comment 17 received on the XXXX is accompanied by a response in Volume III of the FEIS. Following the 18 FEIS review period, the study team considered comments received and prepared a ROD which 19 was released to the public on March 13, 2015. 20 At the same time as the XXXX publication, the study team also submitted the Initial 21 Location/Design Concept Report (L/DCR) to ADOT technical groups and agency stakeholders. 22 The design plans included in the Initial L/DCR represent approximately 15%-level design plans.

Project Status. The Contractor shall submit a bi-weekly report for orders having an estimated cost or fixed price in excess of $250,000 unless otherwise specified in the order. Notwithstanding the reporting requirement, the Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer, the Project Officer, and the specific technical monitor for any order when a schedule slip or cost overrun is projected. The NRC may require the Contractor to use an NRC generated format or may accept a proposed Contractor format that, will be determined on an order specific basis. a. Performance of the work under this BPA is subject to the technical direction of the NRC project officer. The term "technical direction" is defined to include the following:
1. Technical direction to the contractor which shifts work emphasis between areas of work or tasks, authorizes travel which was unanticipated in the Schedule (i.e., travel not contemplated in the Statement of Work or changes to specific travel identified in the Statement of Work), fills in details, or otherwise serves to accomplish the contractual statement of work.
2. Provide advice and guidance to the contractor in the preparation of drawings, specifications, or technical portions of the work description.
