Self Scheduling. 1. When a unit adopts self scheduling all employees on the unit will be required to participate. 2. Employees on self-scheduling units shall be responsible for scheduling their hours including paid holidays and lieu days. 3. The completed schedules shall be submitted to the Manager for review and approval, to ensure that appropriate coverage is maintained, at least two (2) weeks in advance of the required posting time. The Manager's approval of the schedule shall not be unreasonably withheld. 4. Self-scheduling, including scheduling guidelines, shall comply with all the provisions of the Collective Agreements in all respects. 5. The parties agree that they will discuss guidelines regarding self-scheduling prior to implementation of self-scheduling.
