Self-Sufficiency Program. The Self- Sufficiency Program (SSP) provides housing resources and supportive services to extremely low income families, as defined by regulations promulgated by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), many of whom are living at welfare-level. The mission of SSP is to create stability for clients in order to promote job achievement, retention and advancement through the provision of housing resources and supportive services, thereby enabling participants to reach and maintain self-sufficiency. Clients accepted into SSP may either enter HIP Housing-owned or managed shared housing, which provides Section 8 rental vouchers to these participants, or receive housing scholarships for independent living. Funds provided for the SSP under this Agreement are to be used as follows:

Self-Sufficiency Program a. All tenants who are not employed and who are not excused on the basis of age, disability or other good cause are required to develop, sign and comply with a self-sufficiency program (“Self-Sufficiency Program”) under which they agree to take certain actions intended to lead to employment, as described in Section IX(C)(5) of Landlord’s Pershing Courts Tenant Selection Plan (the “TSP”).

Self-Sufficiency Program. Subrecipient shall require each Eligible Household receiving Subsidy Payments from the Subrecipient to participate in a “Self-Sufficiency Program” administered by Subrecipient in accordance with the ESG Agreement and the Case Management and Self Sufficiency Program Policies and Procedures attached to the TBRA Program Operating Guidelines as Appendix J. Failure of an Eligible Household that is already receiving Subsidy Payments to participate in the Self-Sufficiency Program shall not be grounds for termination of the Subsidy Payments, but may be grounds for non-renewal of Subsidy Payments upon expiration of the subsidy term.

  • Frequency Protection Should Company install any type of radio transceiver or other wireless communications equipment, Company will provide frequency protection within the aviation air/ground VHF frequency band and the UHF frequency band in accordance with restrictions promulgated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the vicinity of FAA Transmitter or Receiver facilities. Frequency protection will also be provided for all other frequency bands operating in the vicinity of Company’s equipment. Should interference occur as a result of Company’s installation, Authority reserves the right to shut down Company’s installation until appropriate remedies to the interference are made by Company. Such remedies may include relocation to another site. The cost of all such efforts to remedy the interference will be solely at Company’s expense.

  • Emergency Procedures a) ENP providers shall have a written Emergency/Disaster Plan.

  • Emergency Preparedness All residents are advised to have an emergency plan. It is recommended that each resident maintain an emergency supply kit consisting of a first aid kit, three-day supply of water, non-perishable food, battery operated radio and flashlight, extra batteries, portable electronic device charger, gloves, and medications.

  • Self-insured programs and self-insured retentions Approval. Any self-insurance program, or self-insured retention must be approved separately in writing by the District's Risk Manager and shall protect the District, its Board of Trustees, and their officials, employees, volunteers, and agents in the same manner and to the same extent as they would have been protected had the policy or policies not contained such self-insurance or self- insured retention provisions.

  • Self-Evaluation Each regular faculty member shall provide a self-evaluation. It shall address, among other items, the faculty member's fulfillment of professional responsibilities as referenced in Section 18.2.3 and an assessment of his or her own performance.   • Emergency Procedure An employee may be immediately placed on an off-duty status (without pay) by the Employer, but remain on the rolls where the allegation involves intoxication (use of drugs or alcohol), pilferage, or failure to observe safety rules and regulations, or in cases where retaining the employee on duty may result in damage to U.S. Postal Service property, loss of mail or funds, or where the employee may be injurious to self or others. The employee shall remain on the rolls (non-pay status) until disposition of the case has been had. If it is proposed to suspend such an employee for more than fourteen (14) days or discharge the employee, the emergency action taken under this Section may be made the subject of a separate grievance.

  • Other Program Requirements A. The Developer agrees to adopt affirmative marketing procedures and requirements and prepare a written Affirmative Marketing Plan for projects containing five or more HOME-assisted units. The Affirmative Marketing Plan must be available for public inspection in the Developer’s office. The plan must contain specific steps and actions that the Developer will take to provide information and otherwise attract eligible persons for all racial, ethnic, and gender groups in the housing market area to the available housing. Specific activities that must be included in the Developer’s Affirmative Marketing Plan include:
