Resources and Supportive Services. During the term of the contract, the HA will try to provide the resources and services listed in the individual training and ser- vices plans. If the resources and services are not available, the HA will try to substitute other resources and services. However, the HA has no liability to the family if the resources and services are not provided. FSS Escrow Account The HA will establish an FSS escrow account for the family. A portion of the increases in the family’s rent because of increases in earned income will be credited to the FSS escrow account in accordance with HUD requirements. Listed below are the family’s annual income, earned income, and family rent when the family begins the FSS program. These amounts will be used to determine the amount credited to the family’s FSS escrow account because of future increases in earned income. Annual Income $ Earned Income $ Family Rent (Total Tenant Payment or, for HCV program, 30% of monthly Adjusted Income)$ The HA will invest the FSS escrow account funds in HUD- approved investments. The HA will give the family a report on the amount in the family’s FSS escrow account at least once a year. If the family is participating in the HCV program and moves outside the HA’s jurisdiction under HCV portability procedures, the HA may transfer the balance of the family’s FSS escrow account to another HA.

Resources and Supportive Services. During the term of this Contract, [NAME] will assist the Resident/family in identifying and accessing the necessary resources and services to help it achieve the goals outlined in the Resident’s/family’s Home Ownership Plan, as described below. These goals are designed to help the Resident/family overcome its obstacles to purchasing and maintaining its own home. Responsibilities of Resident/family A. Enter into, and comply with all provisions of, a CROWN Residential Rental Agreement (“Lease”) for the rental of the single family CROWN home.

The family’s annual income, earned income, and TTP, at the time the family begins the FSS program, are listed below. The owner will use these amounts to determine the amount to credit to the family’s escrow account based on future increases in earned income. Annual Income $ Earned Income $ Total Tenant Payment $ The owner will deposit the FSS escrow account funds in an interest-bearing account. The owner will give the family a report on the amount in the FSS escrow account at least once a year. If the family moves out of the property offering the FSS program and into another Section 8 property with an FSS program, and the new owner accepts the family into its FSS program, the family may continue its participation. If the new property does not have an FSS program, but the head of household has maintained suitable employment and all family members have been independent from welfare assistance for at least one year, then the owner may modify the goals under this contract and report that the family has successfully completed the contract. The current balance in the escrow account may be disbursed to the FSS family.
