Common use of Shift Changes Clause in Contracts

Shift Changes. The Company shall give an employee twenty-two (22) hours notice of a change in his regular shift pattern. Where such notice is not given, the employee shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times for regular hours worked on the first shift following the change. Such hours worked will not be used for the calculation of overtime. Overtime will be paid in accordance with Article 8.07 (a),(b), and (c).
