Common use of SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL RATE Clause in Contracts

SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL RATE. 31.1 Employees required to work shift work, other than the regular day shift, shall receive a shift differential rate of one-seventh (1/7) times the base hourly rate(s) for normal scheduled shift hours worked, except as noted in 31.2 and 31.4 below.
