Common use of Shift Differentials Clause in Contracts

Shift Differentials. Employees assigned to work any shift other than their normal day shift (start time between 0500 and 1159) shall receive the following shift differential pay: From 1200 through 2159 3% base pay From 2200 through 0459 6% base pay

Shift Differentials. Employees whose regularly assigned to work any shift other than their normal day shift (start time shifts commence between 0500 1400 and 1159) 2159 hours shall receive the following a shift differential pay: From 1200 through 2159 3% base pay From of 55 cents per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 through 0459 6% base payand 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of 60 cents per hour. Overtime shall not be calculated on the shift differential nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.
