Common use of Shift Exchange Clause in Contracts

Shift Exchange. Two employees assigned to work in the same department operational section or Region may temporarily exchange their scheduled shifts with prior approval of the employees’ immediate supervisor(s). No overtime or pay for working out of classification will be created by a shift exchange.
