LEADWORKER. In a department where three (3) or more electricians are employed or work 5 together without on-site supervision there will be a lead worker assigned. Assignment 6 and selection of such lead worker shall be at the sole discretion of the County.
LEADWORKER. An employee assigned, in the absence of supervision, as leadworker to lead other bargaining unit employees shall be paid leadworker premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour additional to his/her applicable rate of pay for such time so assigned.
LEADWORKER. Leadworkers, as defined in the Miami-Dade County Pay Plan, shall not serve as a "Rater" of performance evaluations of other employees. A Leadworker shall be selected from the permanent employees in the same classification, Department or Agency and shift. An employee designated as a Leadworker, shall receive a one (1) step wage differential and such differential shall not affect merit increases or anniversary dates. If a Leadworker is rated on the basis of supervisory ability, it will only be to the extent actually exercised. Leadworkers shall be assigned or removed at the sole discretion of the County.
LEADWORKER. The leadperson(s), assigned at the sole discretion of the Hospital, shall be paid one dollar ($1.00) per hour minimum. Leadworker duties typically will include making work assignments, assisting with problem solving, and training duties.
LEADWORKER. Upon request of a department and after approval of by the Human Resources Department, an employee may be designated a Leadworker, as defined in the approved County Pay Plan. When recommended by the concerned department appointing authority and approved by the Human Resources Department, an employee may be designated as a Leadworker if the following conditions exist:
a) A Leadworker is assigned responsibility by the appointing authority to supervise one or more employees who are ordinarily classified the same as the Leadworker. Leadworkers perform their tasks under the direction of a supervisor of a higher level. Supervisors usually cannot be present to give constant supervision to the work because of duties and assignments which take them to other areas.
b) Leadworker designations may also be authorized by the Human Resources Department, for certain positions where extraordinary duties and responsibilities are required. An employee designated as a Leadworker shall receive the equivalent of one (1) pay step. A Leadworker pay provision does not affect the employee’s pay anniversary date. Leadworker pay provisions may be assigned and removed at the sole discretion of the County.
c) A Leadworker shall not serve as a rater of performance evaluations of other employees in the same classification. If a Leadworker is rated on the basis of supervisory ability, it will only be to the extent actually exercised.

Meet and Xxxxxx Meet and confer in good faith means performance by duly (in Good Faith): authorized City representatives and duly authorized representatives of an employee organization recognized as the majority representative of their mutual obligation to meet at reasonable times and to confer in good faith regarding matters within the scope of representation, including wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment, in an effort to: (1) reach agreement on those matters within the authority of such representatives and (2) reach agreement on what will be recommended to the City Council on those matters within the decision making authority of the City Council; but without requiring either party to agree to a proposal or to make a concession. Meet and Consult: Consult or consultation in good faith means to communicate verbally or in writing for the purpose of presenting and obtaining views or advising of intended actions.
