Common use of Shift Exchange Clause in Contracts

Shift Exchange. All such requests shall be made in writing and signed by both employees concerned and submitted to the Department Head for approval. Apprentices may perform a shift exchange when returning from trade school in order to minimize loss of wages. Approval of such requests shall be at the discretion of Management. Any employee who works a shift exchange recognizes it shall not attract overtime premiums.
