Common use of Shift Minimum Hours Clause in Contracts

Shift Minimum Hours. Employees starting their regular shift or called and starting to work after the starting time of their regular shift shall receive not less than four (4) hours pay for the first half of the shift and, if required to continue on second half of shift, they shall receive pay for a full shift. This payment does not apply during after-hour or off-shift callouts. Callouts after hours, on weekends, or on holidays do not constitute a shift.
