Common use of Shop Stewards Clause in Contracts

Shop Stewards. 15.01 The Co-operative agrees to recognize all Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ appointed and/or elected by the Union for the purpose of overseeing the terms of the Collective Agreement being implemented and for the purpose of presenting complaints and/or grievances to management. 15.02 All time spent by Shop Stewards with respect to disputes and grievances shall be dealt with during regular working hours, and no Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall suffer any loss of pay for time spent in such matters. The number of Shop Stewards who are entitled to remuneration under this Article at any one time shall not exceed two (2), with not more than one (1) Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ from any one (1) department. 15.03 Shop Stewards shall be allowed to wear their Shop Stewards' badge while on duty, providing the size of the badge is acceptable to the Co-operative. 15.04 The Union agrees to provide the Co-operative with the names of the Shop Stewards, in writing, and of any changes that may occur from time to time.
