Common use of SHOP TEMPERATURE Clause in Contracts

SHOP TEMPERATURE. With the co-operation of employees, the Company will attempt to maintain shop temperatures above 16°C during cold weather. The Company agrees not to require its employees to perform outside repair work in temperatures below -29°C, unless adequate protection and some form of heat is provided. Tarpaulins, windbreaks, etc., shall be erected before commencement of work and heat must be made available. The Company shall supply protective clothing when employees are engaged in cleaning equipment.
