Common use of SHORING AND BRACING Clause in Contracts

SHORING AND BRACING. (a) It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to design, provide, and maintain sufficient and adequate shoring and bracing of any existing structure or earth bank during the performance of Work under this Contract. Shoring and bracing shall comply with all applicable codes, regulations and construction requirements, including OSHA requirements, and shall be constructed in such a manner as will prevent all deflection, settlement, and movement of any existing structure or earth bank, and will permit the Work to be performed without damaging any existing structure.
