Short-term and Long-term Mentors. At the secondary level the Department Chair and Principal 21 shall choose the appropriate staff member as mentor. At the elementary level the grade level 22 representative and Principal shall choose the mentor. Mentors for beginning employees shall be 23 referred to as Long-term Mentors. Mentors for experienced employees shall be referred to as Short- 24 term Mentors.
