Short-term and Long-term Mentors. At the secondary level the Department Chair and Principal 12 shall choose the appropriate staff member as mentor. At the elementary level the grade level 13 representative and Principal shall choose the mentor. Mentors for beginning employees shall be 14 referred to as Long-term Mentors. Mentors for experienced employees shall be referred to as Short- 15 term Mentors.
