District Support. The District shall support and uphold employees in their implementation and enforcement of the District’s student discipline policy.
District Support. The District assures employees of its support when an employee’s conduct 12 is in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and board policy. In carrying 13 out their responsibility for maintaining good discipline, an employee shall impose classroom 14 discipline consistent with administrative direction. In the event that an employee feels it is 15 necessary to protect themselves or others from injury, the employee may refer to board policy 16 and/or Florida Statute 1003.32.
District Support. 1. An employee being involuntarily transferred or reassigned, or who voluntarily transfers due to displacement, shall be released from teaching for two (2) days to prepare for the new assignment or compensated for two days at her/his per diem rate.
2. When an involuntary major assignment change occurs, the affected employee may request up to $500 in special funds to purchase necessary resource materials. Additional training and support shall be offered to facilitate employee success in the reassignment. Funds must be applied for within forty-five calendar days of the start of the new position.
3. If any transfer or room change is to be made, the District shall provide packing supplies and shall provide help in moving the affected employee’s materials.
4. If there is an involuntary room change two (2) or more times within two (2) years, employees shall be compensated for one (1) day at his/her per diem rate for the second and any subsequent move(s).
District Support. The District strongly believes in the significance and importance of portfolio assessment. To this end, the district will provide the following level of support. This level of support will only be provided on a year-to-year basis, dependent upon the district’s financial ability to do so.

District Support. The Board and Superintendent shall support and uphold employees in their efforts to maintain discipline in the District. The authority of employees to use prudent disciplinary measures for the safety and well-being of students and employees is supported by the Board.

Since the teacher's authority and effectiveness in the classroom is undermined when students discover that there is insufficient administrative and Board backing, the administration and the Board agree to give all possible support and assistance to teachers in respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom.
District Support. The host district DCBOE agrees to analyze district budgets to identify opportunities for support of Valley Academy implementation; provide adequate and equitable district financial resources to effectively support Valley Academy, including allocations for staff instructional supplies, professional development, etc. Participating districts agree to consider reasonable and appropriate requests from the Advisory Board for in-kind commitments that would support Valley Academy without detracting from the services of the participating districts to their own students following all North Carolina procurement laws and policies of the DCBOE. Leadership and sustainability. The participating districts commit to provide continuous leadership and support in collaboration with the Advisory Board and the partners of Valley Academy, and to work to assure sustainability of Valley Academy.
District Support. NBPTS candidates shall have access to the following: facilities, digital video camera, tripod, extension cords and copiers.
