Common use of Short Term Disability Benefit Clause in Contracts

Short Term Disability Benefit. Full-time unit employees suffering a disability will be eligible to apply for the Board-approved Core Short Term Disability Benefit. Employees may use accrued sick days during the period of such disability. The Disability Benefits shall not be decreased to coordinate with the use of sick days. Once eligible, said benefit shall continue for the approved period of time.
