Short-Term Military Leaves. The Board shall grant a short-term leave of absence of not more than five (5) days per year when a teacher is ordered to report for reserve or national guard duty at a time which conflicts with his/her school responsibilities, provided the Board is unable to have the teacher excused from such duty at the time.
