Common use of Sick While on Paid Leave Clause in Contracts

Sick While on Paid Leave. If an employee is injured or is taken ill while on 8 paid leave, in order to receive sick leave for that time he or she shall present to the County on the first 9 day of injury or illness, or as soon as practicable thereafter, a treating doctor’s statement or other 10 acceptable proof of injury or illness.
