Sickness during annual leave. 43.12.1 Where an Employee becomes sick or injured whilst on annual leave on a day on which he or she would otherwise have worked, and immediately forwards to the Employer a certificate of a registered health practitioner, then the number of days specified in this certificate shall be deducted from any sick leave entitlement standing to the Employee's credit, and shall be re-credited to his or her annual leave entitlement.
