Sickness during annual leave. An employee who is sick while on annual leave and who produces a medical certificate or other satisfactory evidence covering the period of illness, is entitled to convert such period to paid personal leave if the employee has sufficient personal leave credit to do so. In these circumstances the employee will be re-credited with the annual leave during which the illness occurred and for which personal leave is now being taken.

An If an employee who is provides a medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner that they were injured or sick while on annual leave and who produces a medical certificate or other satisfactory evidence covering leave, the period of illness, annual leave which is entitled to convert such period to paid personal leave if the employee has sufficient personal leave credit to do so. In these circumstances the employee affected will be re-credited with and the annual employees sick leave during which entitlement will be debited the illness occurred and for which personal leave is now being takencorresponding amount.
