Site and Topographical Surveys. The Architect/Engineer shall furnish surveys to describe physical characteristics, legal limitations and utility locations for the site of the Project, and a written legal description of the site unless such surveys are specifically provided by the Owner. The surveys and legal information shall include, as applicable, grades and lines of streets, alleys, pavements and adjoining property and structures; adjacent drainage; rights-of-way, restrictions, easements, encroachments, zoning, deed restrictions, boundaries and contours of the site; locations, dimensions and necessary data with respect to existing buildings, other improvements and trees; and information concerning available utility services and lines, both public and private, above and below grade, including inverts and depths. All the information on the survey shall be referenced to a Project benchmark that is permanent and readily identifiable and incorporated into the Contract Documents. Provide two (2) copies of all surveys to the Owner. The Site Services effort shall meet the applicable portions of the Owner’s “Site/Topographic Survey Requirements” document posted under the A/E Services area of the Owner’s web site at xxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.xxx/. Inapplicable portions shall be identified as such in the Architect/Engineer’s fee proposal or similar correspondence prior to the execution of this Agreement. Additional Requirements:

  • Geotechnical 19 The A/E as required shall review past pavement, soil 20 and geology investigations, discuss past findings as 21 impacting the subject roadway project, and independently 22 perform design-needed geotechnical services including 23 development and implementation of a field investigation plan 24 involving any field data collection as deemed necessary, 25 development of a laboratory testing program to conduct soils 26 surface and subsurface characterization tests as applicable 1 to the needs of the project, development of seismic analysis 2 and design criteria in accordance with code requirements, 3 development of pavement condition studies to provide 4 recommendations concerning life cycle costs and 5 rehabilitation/reconstruction methods, and recommendations 6 for the design of foundations, embankment and excavation 7 procedures, settlement analysis, lateral, active, and passive 8 earth pressures, de-watering, landslide mapping, slope 9 stabilization, soil corrosion, erosion, sedimentation control 10 and other applicable design criteria as deemed necessary.

  • ROAD DIMENSIONS Purchaser shall perform road work in accordance with the dimensions shown on the TYPICAL SECTION SHEET and the specifications within this road plan.

  • Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7. On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account. Forest Service engineering shall be completed according to the schedule in A8. Should Forest Service be unable to perform the designated survey and design by the completion date or other agreed to time, upon written agreement, Purchaser shall assume responsibility for such work. In such event, Contracting Officer shall revise:

  • Topography Altering the existing topography of the Property by digging, plowing, disking, or otherwise disturbing the surface is prohibited, unless Grantee determines such requested action will be carried out consistent with the Restoration Plan and will be carried out in a manner that protects the conservation values. Grantor shall obtain Xxxxxxx’s written permission in advance of commencing such action.

  • Sites Sites shall mean the locations set forth in the Contract Documentation.
