Sixty-Day Window. (i) Any employee who is eligible for a service retirement on or before June 30, 2005, may elect to retire not later than sixty (60) days following final approval of this Agreement by the Waterbury Financial Planning and Assistance Board. Such employee shall have his/her retirement benefit calculated on the same basis as it would have been calculated under Article XXIII of the 2000-2005 collective bargaining agreement. Said retiree’s survivor benefit shall also be determined on the same basis as it would have been under Article XXIII of the 2000-2005 collective bargaining agreement.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday‌ A team member who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.
