Software Engineering for Other Divisions’ MIS. The Contractor shall provide MIS software engineering for other NRL Divisions, which shall be provided through the development of a generic Divisional Management Information System (DMIS). The DMIS is maintained by porting SSDMIS code to UNIX machines across the network. As DMIS revisions are performed for the SSD, these revisions are propagated outward to the other DMIS divisions at NRL. The Contractor shall provide SSD MIS software engineering. Database administration, development, configuration management, and help desk activities shall be performed for each of the divisions. The Government anticipates that a minimum of 2 divisions (current number) and a maximum of 4 divisions will be involved, with a fraction of 1 person’s time required even at maximum.
