Special Holidays for Long Service. Clauses (a) – (d) are applicable to staff based at the Ara division, except for cleaners. (a) An employee shall be entitled to special holidays as follows: i. One special holiday of two weeks after the completion of 15 years’ continuous service and before the completion of 25 years of continuous service with the same employer. ii. One special holiday of three weeks after the completion of 25 years and before the completion of 35 years of continuous service with the same employers. iii. One special holiday of five weeks after the completion of 35 years’ continuous service with the same employer. (b) Should any employee have completed 25 years of continuous service with the same employer prior to 21 March 2001, he/she shall not be entitled to the special holiday provided in paragraph (i) of sub-clause (a) of this clause. Should an employee have completed 35 years of continuous service with the same employer prior to 21 March 2001, he/she shall not be entitled to the special holiday provided in paragraphs (i) or (ii) of sub-clause (a) of this clause. (c) All such special holidays provided for in sub-clause (a) of this clause shall be on ordinary pay as defined by the Holidays Act 2003, and may be taken in one or more periods and at such time or times as may be agreed by the employer and the employee. (d) If the employee, having become entitled to a special holiday, leaves his/her employment before such holiday has been taken, he/she shall be paid in lieu thereof. (e) Employees employed prior to 31 October 1992 will be granted four weeks long service leave on completion of 20 years continuous service (i) are applicable to staff based at the SIT division.

(c) All such special holidays provided for in sub-clause (a) of this clause shall be on ordinary pay Service Leave as defined by the Holidays Act 2003, and above may be taken in one or more periods and at such time or times as may be agreed by the employer and the employee.
(d) If the employee, having become entitled to a special holidaySpecial Holiday, leaves his/her the employment before such holiday has been taken, he/she payment shall be paid made in lieu thereofof such holiday.
(e) Employees employed prior to 31 October 1992 will All such special holidays provided for in this clause shall be granted four weeks on average earnings as defined by the Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000 and its amendments, provided that the holiday pay of an employee in respect of any period of the employees special holiday for long service leave on completion shall in any event be at a rate of 20 years continuous service
(i) are applicable to staff based not less than the rate of the employees ordinary pay at the SIT divisiondate when the employee begins to take that period of the employees long service holiday, and may be taken in one or more periods and at such time or times as may be agreed by the employer and the employee.

(a) An employee 24.1 A full-time or part-time Employee shall be entitled to special holidays in addition to annual leave as follows:
i. 24.1.1 One special holiday of two weeks after the completion of 15 years’ 10 years of current continuous service and with the Employer which shall be taken before the completion of 25 20 years of current continuous service with the same employerEmployer.
ii. 24.1.2 One special holiday of three weeks after the completion of 25 20 years and of current continuous service with the Employer which shall be taken before the completion of 35 30 years of current continuous service with the same employersEmployer.

(b) Should any employee have completed 25 years of continuous service with the same employer prior to 21 March 2001, he/she shall not be entitled to the special holiday provided in paragraph (i) of sub-clause
(a) of this clause. Should an employee have completed 35 years of continuous service with the same employer prior to 21 March 2001, he/she shall not be entitled to the special holiday provided in paragraphs (i) or (ii) of sub-clause (a) of this clause.
(c) 24.2 All such special holidays provided for in sub-clause (a) of this clause 24.1 shall be on ordinary pay as defined by current rates of pay, paid pro-rata for part-time Employees based on average hours worked in accordance with the Holidays Act 2003, and may are to be taken taken, where possible, in one or more periods and period at such time or times as may be agreed by between the employer Employer and the employeeEmployee.
(d) 24.3 If the employee, an Employee having become entitled to a special holiday, holiday leaves his/her their employment before such holiday has been taken, he/she taken they shall be paid in lieu thereof.
(e) Employees employed prior to 31 October 1992 will 24.4 Where the Employer and the Employee mutually agree payment may be granted four weeks long service leave on completion made in lieu of 20 years continuous service
(i) are applicable to staff based at the SIT divisionholiday being taken.
