Staff Development and Meetings. 8.01 The Parties to this Collective Agreement recognize the value of continuing staff development for Employees and that the responsibility for such continuing staff development lies not only with the individual but also with the Employer. For the purposes of this Article, the term "staff development" includes orientation, acquisition and maintenance of essential skills and other programs, which may be approved by the Employer.
