Common use of Staff Development Day Clause in Contracts

Staff Development Day. 6.5.1 The district will hold a staff development day during the 3-day period prior to the beginning of classes in August and held in conjunction with the teacher preparation days set forth in section 6.4. This staff development day will be the second of the three days for returning staff and the third of four days for new unit members.

Additionally, there will be two (2) additional days of meetings/staff development for new unit members participating in PAR and one (1) additional day for new teachers not participating in PAR prior to days for teacher preparation in the new school term.
