Common use of Staff Development Day Clause in Contracts

Staff Development Day. 6.5.1 The district will hold a staff development day during the 3- day period prior to the beginning of classes in August and held in conjunction with the teacher preparation days set forth in section 6.4. This staff development day will be the second of the three days for returning staff and the third of four days for new unit members. 6.5.2 All Unit members, including teachers, librarians, counselors, speech and language pathologists, and other certificated positions, shall be included in the Staff Development opportunities. This Article specifically excludes District Psychologists.
