Standard Work Week. The standard work week is 40 hours, normally on 5 or fewer consecutive days. This provision does not prohibit deviations from this pattern based on temporary scheduling requirements of the Employer or based on agreement between an employee and the Employer. Nothing in this Agreement constitutes a guarantee that an employee will have any particular number of hours or work days during any work week, but the Employer will negotiate with the Association before implementing a program of unpaid furlough days.
