STANDBY FOR PARAMEDIC SERVICES i) An employee assigned to standby will be paid two (2) hours pay at their regular straight time hourly rate for each day the employee is required to be on standby. ii) The employee must be able to immediately perform duties in compliance with the Ambulances Act and all applicable related regulations and standards. iii) The employee must remain within one (1) hour travel time of 00000 Xxxxx Xxxxxx, Newmarket and are required to report to work as soon as possible and to the assigned location. iv) The employee shall be placed on active pay upon registration with the Ambulance Communication Centre.
