State Inmate Care. Subject an agreement with the Department of Corrections pursuant to which UMCMC will receive reasonable and appropriate cost reimbursement, UMCMC, with the support of LSU, will provide medically necessary health care to the State’s inmates. In the event UMCMC does not receive reasonable and appropriate cost reimbursement, it may suspend the provision of health care services to State inmates, and the State shall arrange for alternative sources of medically necessary health care until such time as reasonable and appropriate cost reimbursement is provided to UMCMC for such medically necessary services. Suspension of care to State inmates due to lack of reasonable and appropriate cost reimbursement for such services shall not constitute a violation of this CEA. Subject to the good-faith determination by the UMCMC Board of Directors and consistent with the mission of UMCMC, UMCMC will make commercially reasonable efforts to assure that telemedicine capability is available to LSU in accordance with Section 3.6 for use in providing cost-effective, medically necessary health care to State inmates.

  • Due Care THE EXECUTIVE ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE HAS RECEIVED A COPY OF THIS RELEASE PRIOR TO ITS EXECUTION AND HAS BEEN ADVISED HEREBY OF HIS OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW AND CONSIDER THIS RELEASE FOR TWENTY-ONE (21) DAYS PRIOR TO ITS EXECUTION. THE EXECUTIVE FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE HAS BEEN ADVISED HEREBY TO CONSULT WITH AN ATTORNEY PRIOR TO EXECUTING THIS RELEASE. THE EXECUTIVE ENTERS INTO THIS RELEASE HAVING FREELY AND KNOWINGLY ELECTED, AFTER DUE CONSIDERATION, TO EXECUTE THIS RELEASE AND TO FULFILL THE PROMISES SET FORTH HEREIN.   • General Care ● Do not do anything to the District-issued Device that may permanently alter them in any way. ● Do not remove any serial numbers or identification marks placed on the District-issued Device. ● Keep the District-issued Device clean (e.g., do not eat or drink while using the Computing Device). ● TJUHSD does not provide backup services for any District-issued Device. Students should not store important documents on District-issued Device. District technicians will not attempt to recover lost data on District-issued Device. Carrying the District-issued Device: ● It is recommended to use a padded backpack or a case to transport the District-issued Device.

  • STATEWIDE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM If the maximum amount payable to Contractor under this Contract is $100,000 or greater, either on the Effective Date or at any time thereafter, this section shall apply. Contractor agrees to be governed by and comply with the provisions of §§00-000-000, 00-000-000, 00-000-000, and 00- 000-000, C.R.S. regarding the monitoring of vendor performance and the reporting of contract information in the State’s contract management system (“Contract Management System” or “CMS”). Contractor’s performance shall be subject to evaluation and review in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Contract, Colorado statutes governing CMS, and State Fiscal Rules and State Controller policies.

  • Child Care A. Employees employed as of March 1 who meet the following criteria shall be eligible for a lump sum payment each year. Eligible employees may apply for this payment between March 1 and April 15 of each year. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of the completed application. Any application received after April 15 will be considered on a case by case basis and shall not be arbitrarily rejected.

  • Medical Care The Parents must comply with the School Welfare Officer's recommendations which may include a reasonable decision to release the Pupil home or to his / her education guardian when s/he is unwell.

  • Home Health Care This plan covers the following home care services when provided by a certified home healthcare agency: • nursing services; • services of a home health aide; • visits from a social worker; • medical supplies; and • physical, occupational and speech therapy.

  • Newborn Care A newborn child will be covered from the moment of birth provided that the newborn child is eligible for coverage and properly enrolled. Covered Services will consist of coverage for injury or illness, including the necessary care or treatment of medically diagnosed congenital defects, birth abnormalities, premature birth and transportation costs to the nearest facility appropriately staffed and equipped to treat the newborn's Condition, when such transportation is Medically Necessary. Circumcisions are provided for up to one year from the date of birth.
