Status While on Sabbatical Leave. A teacher on sabbatical leave shall be considered to be in the employ of the district and shall have a contract as provided for in Kansas Statute 72-5410 et. seq. However, the leave, if granted, will be without pay. Teachers on sabbatical leave shall be entitled to participate in any and all benefits that may be provided other contracted teachers by the Board; however, it will be the obligation of the teacher to provide full payment to the District for all benefits at least one month in advance of the due date.
