Status While on Sabbatical Leave. a. An employee on sabbatical leave shall be considered to be in the employ of the Lansing School District and shall have a contract. However, the Lansing School District shall not be held liable for death or injury sustained by any staff member while on sabbatical leave. b. The employee shall be entitled to participate in any other benefits that may be provided for by rules and regulations of the Board. c. The employee shall be responsible for notifying the Lansing School District Human Resources Office as to the place to which the checks should be addressed during the period of sabbatical leave.
