Statutory and Regulatory Compliance. 1. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. INTENTIONALLY OMITTED 2. Americans with Disabilities Act. The Contractor shall be and remain in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (xxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/) as amended from time to time (“ADA”) to the extent applicable, during the term of the Contract. The Agency may cancel or terminate this Contract if the Contractor fails to comply with the ADA. The Contractor represents that it is familiar with the terms of this Act and that it is in compliance with the law. The Contractor warrants that it shall hold the State harmless from any liability which may be imposed upon the state as a result of any failure of the Contractor to be in compliance with this ADA. As applicable, the Contractor shall comply with § 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended from time to time, 29 U.S.C. § 794 (Supp. 1993), regarding access to programs and facilities by people with disabilities.
