Step 1, Principal Level. In the event the matter is not resolved informally, the grievance, stated in writing, may be submitted by the Teacher or his/her representative, if any, to the appropriate Administrator within thirty (30) days after the occurrence of the act or condition which is the basis for the grievance.

  • Lower Salary Level An employee who accepts another position with a lower salary range will be paid an amount equal to his or her current salary, provided it is within the salary range of the new position. In those cases where the employee’s current salary exceeds the maximum amount of the salary range for the new position, the employee will be compensated at the maximum salary of the new salary range.

  • Education Level Use the employee educational level codes listed below.   • Average Contribution Amount For purposes of this Agreement, to ensure that all employees enrolled in health insurance through the City’s HSS are making premium contributions under the Percentage-Based Contribution Model, and therefore have a stake in controlling the long term growth in health insurance costs, it is agreed that, to the extent the City's health insurance premium contribution under the Percentage-Based Contribution Model is less than the “average contribution,” as established under Charter section A8.428(b), then, in addition to the City’s contribution, payments toward the balance of the health insurance premium under the Percentage-Based Contribution Model shall be deemed to apply to the annual “average contribution.” The parties intend that the City’s contribution toward employee health insurance premiums will not exceed the amount established under the Percentage-Based Contribution Model.

  • Staffing Levels To the extent legislative appropriations and PIN authorizations allow, safe staffing levels will be maintained in all institutions where employees have patient, client, inmate or student care responsibilities. In July of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of each agency will, upon request, meet with the Union, to hear the employees’ views regarding staffing levels.
