Step 2, Superintendent Level. Within ten (10) days after receiving the decision of the administrator, an appeal from the decision may be made to the Superintendent. The appeal shall be in writing and shall set forth specifically the act or conditions and the grounds on which the appeal is based, and shall be accompanied by a copy of the decision in Step 1. a) The Superintendent shall meet and confer on the grievance within ten (10) days, with a view to arriving at a mutually satisfactory adjustment. b) Within five (5) days after hearing the appeal, the Superintendent shall communicate his/her decision in writing, together with supporting reasons, to the administrator, the Union president or his/her designee, and the aggrieved.
