Stolen Device. The parent must file a police report for a stolen device. A copy of the filed police report will be provided to the school administrator within 48 hours. If filed, the parent/guardian will not be responsible for any costs of the device. Without a filed-police report, the device will be deemed lost, a fee of up to $300.00 will be collected for a stolen device from the parent, and a parent/guardian meeting with an administrator will be required. In the case of a stolen device, a loaner device will be provided.

  • Device In this agreement, “device” means a hardware system (whether physical or virtual) with an internal storage device capable of running the software. A hardware partition or blade is considered to be a device.

  • Removable media devices All electronic files that contain County PHI or PI data must be encrypted when stored on any removable media or portable device (i.e. USB thumb drives, floppies, CD/DVD, smartphones, backup tapes etc.). Encryption must be a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128bit or higher, such as AES.
